How could you ask for anything more than to sleep in luxury nestled between Park and Madison in Midtown Manhattan? The Lotte New York Palace is a classic urban haunt that showcases the old-school luxury hotel model with all of the modern services and comforts. Food and beverage options abound within the hotel itself and you are within a few blocks of some really great New York establishments as well. The on-site French patisserie, Pomme Palais, is a particular treat any time of day, especially if you have a macaroon lover travelling with you.
As with anything, location is most important and this property’s location is outstanding. Across Madison from the rear of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Fifth Avenue and Rockefeller Center are a hop skip and a jump away from your doorstep. Cabs and Uber vehicles are plentiful, just do yourself a favor and pick which hotel exit you choose based upon where you are heading: traffic runs one way at each direction and you can save yourself some time if you plan to leave on the side where the traffic moves in the direction you want to go. Trust me: a 10-minute cab ride to Madison Square Garden in rush hour was a breeze because we chose correctly. The 45-minute trek down Park on a Saturday morning because of construction was a giant waste of time because we chose poorly. Bellman and valets will steer you correctly too, just ask.
Stay, explore and enjoy this grand Midtown lady. She will not disappoint.
