The concept of Bacchanal is one that should be duplicated in every city. A wine store with an outdoor garden, some live music, great food and easy fun; it a combination of everything I love. Grab yourself a bottle of wine, some glasses and a chiller and then find a seat amongst the crowd. We went in the late afternoon, after a large lunch at “the Joint” around the corner. We were almost passed out from the meat induced food coma we were experiencing, but we “came to” once we saw this little gem. Cajun Jazz being played by an octogenarian on an accordion (something I doubt I will see again) and a couple of drinks made our afternoon in the Bywater that much more special.
