The Olde Pink House Savannah, Georgia, United-states

Southern dining in old southern elegance... in a historical mansion ... that's haunted.

Delicious southern cooking in a Colonial mansion built at the end of the 18th century and yes, it’s pink as advertised. It’s actually the dining option for the historic Planter’s Inn hotel, one of the grand ole dames in central Savannah. There are multiple romantically lit dining rooms in this huge mansion; we got a quiet corner in one of the many nooks in the house. The meal was excellent – you’ll get the get great southern fare like green fried tomatoes but it’ll drop your jaw when it comes with bacon and cream corn. The LowCountry she crab soup is  a meal highlight – flavourful without being gritty. For your main, the crab stuffed grouper was a standout as was the almond crusted tilapia. Finish with the praline basket or whatever the special may be. After you’re done, head downstairs to the basement for the speakeasy style Tavern – tasty cocktails over some painee music! You may be able to get a quick jig in with one of the ghosts…
