Located inside Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, The Flying Fish Café has emerged as one of the frontrunners in innovative fine dining at DisneyWorld. The menu changes seasonally and although it features a heavy influence of fresh seafood (duh), there are plenty of solidly delicious options for carnivores as well. In fact, their strip steak is one of the tastiest things on their menu (I usually rotate between that and whatever is the current preparation of scallops…they are heavenly).
An extensive wine list and a bar menu that is continuously experimenting with new flavors and concoctions, you will not leave thirsty. The restaurant also has a thorough children’s menu that will cater to both the shy and adventurous kid palate.
The staff is quite knowledgeable and can accommodate a more leisurely pace or can speed it up, depending on your plans for the evening.
In all, a great spot for a great meal without ever leaving Disney property.
