Hakkasan Miami Miami, Florida, United-states

Deliciously decedent Cantonese cuisine with a decidedly sexy vibe located in the Fontainebleau Miami Beach

Where do I begin? Although technically a “chain” as there are a few Hakkasan locations around the globe, this is one of my very favorite restaurants anywhere. It is a bit of a hike to get there (it is located in the extreme North end of the resort, down some long hallways and up an elevator), but I promise you will not be disappointed. It’s loud, it’s sexy and it is everything you want from a grown-up visit to Miami Beach.

And the food, oh, the food. Dim sum done right and a wide array of other Cantonese main plates that are perfect to share just so you can try more things (the stir fry lobster is simply outstanding). Their wine list is off the charts and both servers and sommeliers are approachable, friendly and more than capable to help you select the perfect libation(s) to make your meal a great experience. Another word about the service; the staff has the uncanny ability to know exactly when you will need them and they almost appear instantly, yet they are wildly unobtrusive and you will simply be able to enjoy your meal and your dining companion (did I mention how sexy the feel of this place is?).

Bust out your highest heels and your shortest dress and enjoy what will be one of your favorite evenings ever.

The restaurant is located in the extreme North end of the resort. Be prepared for a long walk to get there and don't be concerned that you are heading in the wrong direction...you'll get there eventually and it is totally worth it.
