The hoomans take me to Tacolicious at least once a week, (guilty). This is an awesome spot to spend time with friends. The margaritas are refreshing, the taco options are endless, and everything is delicious. They do have outdoor seating, but it goes fast on nice days. Even if it’s a bit chillier, they do have heat lamps, so you can still sit outside. All of their tacos are “street sized” so they are a bit smaller, but that way you can try multiple kinds. To start, they have amazing free homemade chips and salsa, but we always add guacamole to the mix, and it’s delicious! The must-have appetizer are the tuna tostadas. They may sound weird, but if you like ahi tuna, order them, they will not disappoint! As far as tacos go, they have around 10 different types, and honestly, you can’t go wrong. All of them are equally delicious. When we go with friends we will order a variety of about 20 tacos to share, but the crowd pleaser is always the fish taco. There are a few locations in San Francisco, so if you’re around the Mission District or north in Sausalito, you’re in luck, and can go to Tacolicious there as well.
A great place to visit in the Marina District. The atmosphere is fun and lively as the fresh margaritas and Mexican beers are poured. After you dive into the fresh chips and salsa, order the tuna tostadas and a variety of tacos to share with the table.
