So the bar stools are bronzed jellyfish. The entire restaurant has an under-the-sea theme. Yet it manages not to be kitschy. This isn’t the hippest SF restaurant, nor is it new on the scene but time after time the menu offers fresh, inventive seafood, other options such as foie gras and lamb which were divine and a wine list that is wonderful.

Food aside, this is some of the most gracious, old-fashioned service I have ever had. The servers are knowledgeable and warm without being obtrusive.
The entire experience feels rare and special.
