Situated in the heart of London’s Museum Quarter, in the French district next to South Kensington underground station, The Kensington crêperie offers an extensive range of made to order crêpes, waffles and homemade ice cream. And they’re all divine!
I usually start with a savoury crêpes such as the chicken, brie and pesto and cheese, potato and bacon. Then share a sweet one, usually something with melted chocolate, cream and a boozy sauce in it. (My mouth is watering thinking about it).
It’s the ideal place to go for a light meal or sweet treat before/after visiting the museums. Or if you just love crêpes, as there aren’t many crêperies in London.
The one down side is the queues. On a weekend, or during school holidays they’re usually 20mins+ long which is a show stopper for me. They take reservations Mon-Fri and I would strongly recommend you to book if you’re planning to go as there’s never really a quiet time.
