This little gem is located in one of the cooler neighbourhoods of Ottawa. The menu has several very special dishes, indicative of an adventurous and inquisitive chef. I was absolutely enamoured of the lamb tartar, which was enormously complex and flavourful. I also sampled by companions’ starters, which included Asian greens and soft-shell crab. Both were immaculate. However, the best was saved for the main, which in my case was the rabbit. (I have a personal rule that I must order rabbit if I find it on a menu). It was prepared to perfection, and served over couscous. My companions did not feel like sharing their mains, so I can only report that they smelled fantastic. Make sure you reserve your space, as it appears to be a busy place. Noise levels are high, but contribute to the bustling atmosphere.
