I love brunch at Blue Plate, on a lazy Saturday. I love lunch at Blue Plate, on a bustling Thursday. And dinner at Blue Plate is pretty good too. Well you get the point.
You used be able to get coffee out of all of these retro mugs that had been collected over time. Last time I went they were no more. Apparently people steal them. So now there is painting of all the mugs that will have to suffice. The 50’s tables are topped with kitschy lamps and the art is local and for sale.
The food is locally sourced with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Or be a carnivore and have the meatloaf. Or the bacon mac n cheese spring rolls. Even the humble mixed greens is creatively dressed and topped with roasted chick peas.
You won’t go wrong…
