Preachers Cave Jeans-bay, North-eleuthera, Bahamas

Explore a cave on northern Eleuthera resembling a church.

Visiting Preachers Cave by water or by road is a fun adventure. Read about the Eleutheran Adventurers first to appreciate what the early settlers experienced when they wrecked their boat on the Devil’s Backbone and settled in the cave and then expanded their colony to Spanish Wells, Governor’s Harbour and Harbour Island all for religious freedom! There is a beautiful beach right by the cave that you can visit or take a packed lunch to and have a picnic. Flip flops are fine to wear, as the terrain is not too tough. We stopped at this cave along with other must do and see spots and made a day of exploring.
