Naturally, you have high expectations for a stay at a Four Seasons, but after a stay at this location, other hotels will have to work even harder when you see how well everything is done here. This property is both a resort as well as a private club with a TPC course and the club-like feel permeates the ambiance in the best possible way. You feel like you are at home, but way better than your actual home, largely due to the friendly staff who anticipate your needs before you even know you have them (seriously, Four Seasons properties must make ESP a mandatory hiring requirement, they are that good).
Guestrooms are located in the main building as well as in out buildings (called Villas). A bit of a walk (but not too far by any means), the Villas offer greater privacy and really give you the feeling of a home away from home. The North Villas offer views of the TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas course (home of the Byron Nelson Championship) and are perfect and lovely whether or not you give a lick about golf in the least. Cushy beds and huge showers with a happy and eager to please housekeeping staff make the guestrooms a treat in and of themselves.
Resort guests have access to the Sports Club, the resort and club’s spectacular fitness facility, adjacent to the North Villas. Even if you are not prone to get a workout in during your vacation, you will want to make time to at least walk on the treadmill for a bit. Extensive machines as well as indoor tennis and racquetball courts are available in addition to many classes offered daily.
Food and beverage options abound, and my particular favorite is the cozy Bar 19, located just off the lobby and adjacent to the Sports Club facility.
Never snooty and always warm and inviting, this property is gorgeous, but what makes it truly exceptional is the talented and friendly staff.
