Arcade Restaurant Memphis, Tennessee, United-states

Go get a great diner style breakfast or lunch with a big ol' helping of history on the side.

The Arcade is the oldest cafe in Memphis  – founded by a Greek immigrant in 1919.  this place has survived the downturn of Memphis and it’s rebirth to be a cornerstone of the revival of the neighborhood and Memphis itself.  If it feels like you are in a movie set of a 1950’s diner – well it’s because the Arcade has been the setting for many, many movies.  You may recognize it in Great Balls of Fire, the Client or Walk the Line….just for starters.

It is owned by the grandson of the original owner and it is a must do.
