We hit Charleston mid-day and the kids were keen on finding some ribs. So we marched down King Street and let our noses (And the big neon pig) guide us. Nick’s is set up in a casual manner. There is a line-up with brass rails to order, then they give you a number, you find a table and they bring your food out to you. We shared three meats and sides (Ribs/brisket/pulled pork) and tucked into the collard greens, mac n cheese and cheese biscuits. The service was quick and friendly and we didn’t get held up a long time in our exploring the city. There are some salads on the menu —or so I’m told, but really? Why bother.
