When we first moved to Pittsburgh we arrived to a house with a gutted kitchen. That was unexpected. When I got tired of trying to cook 3 meals a day on a BBQ, we would walk down the street to the neighborhood Bistro, Point Brugges Cafe or “The Brugges” where our 5 kids would dine on Moules Frites, the best mac and cheese and we would drink Ommegang beer. 3 months, thousands of bucks and several pounds later we were definitely regulars. They have an awesome Sunday brunch but expect to wait for a table- no worries they will pour you a Mimosa or a Bloody Mary and you can join the sunshine outside or sit at the bar and chat.
