An iconic hotel in the heart of the playground that is Palm Beach. The drive up the palm-lined entry to the hotel’s grand exterior is just the beginning of your escape into luxury. Guestrooms and suites are decorated in bold Palm Beach colors and no two rooms are exactly alike, in shape, size or décor. Imagine staying at your fabulously wealthy aunt’s stunning ocean-front beach home and you get the idea of how unique and comfortable the accommodations are.
Dining options abound with 8 outlets available almost daily and I highly recommend doing their legendary Sunday Bruch at least once in your lifetime. The hotel’s newest offering is HMF and the space is nothing short of a slam-dunk for cocktails, people watching and small bites. The Beach Club Restaurant and The Ocean Grill are great daytime options, but available only to registered hotel guests and Beach Club members. The Seafood Bar (the bar itself is an aquarium!) sits oceanside and is open for lunch and dinner daily, but they do not take reservations. The Italian Restaurant is open nightly for dinner and is located in the well-stocked Family Fun Center and is a great options for families who want a good, simple meal with plenty of places to entertain the kiddos. Both Echo and The Flagler Steakhouse are a short distance from the main hotel and a complimentary shuttle service with take you to and fro as needed. Both are definitely worth the trip.
While a perfect escape for all kinds of travelers, The Breakers is a great destination for families and they have plenty of things to keep the smaller members of your travel party happily occupied with daily activities and even day camps. For grown ups, there are two golf courses (one onsite and one about 10 miles inland), tennis, a gorgeous fitness center with ocean views, an adults-only pool and of course, the spa.
If you should ever have the opportunity to stay, you will not regret it, even if only for one night. But I promise you that after one night, you will already be booking your next stay.
