Late night is when this place shines so do as the South Beacher’s do and eat at 10 pm. Or 11:30, as we did after a concert one night. Reservations are a very good idea, especially if you wanted to be seated outside, which you do.
An elevator whisks you up to the top of the Lincoln Road Parking Garage and you are like “What? the Parking Garage?” – Ya, that’s right. You step out into the lobby and find yourself in this jewel of an Asian fushion restaurant with a living wall, cool beats from a DJ and the typical South Beach want to be seen crowd. What isn’t typical is the amazing view you have of South Beach, Miami, and the coast. Not typical because there are not too many tall buildings in South Beach so it is genius that Juvia took advantage of the opportunity to get a perch like this.
The menu is a collection of Asian inspired dishes with a tapas feel. We started with an amazing Tuna Sashimi, served with a Wasabi mousse, followed by the Korean Short Rib, Chilean Sea Bass with some candied yams and brussels sprouts on the side. All were divine though my husband said I handily “won” with my Korean Short Rib over the Sea Bass. We chose their special dessert to share and it, along with our Espressos were a perfect finish.
