Tiny in size, this French seafood bistro is tucked into a strip mall in Lauderdale by the Sea. In size it might be small, but the word of mouth has grown and grown for this cafe since it opened a few years back. We’ve tried to eat here a few times, but it’s been one reason after another that we haven’t made it. Finally, this last Valentine’s Day, we made a reservation and promised ourselves we would get to try what others have told us is so worth it. Trying it on such a packed crazy holiday might not have been fair. What is usually a slightly busy Saturday evening, was a packed house with tables crowded in next to each other. We didn’t seem to taste the difference though. Carrot soup, Branzino filet and the Surf & Turf were all done expertly. We waited a bit longer than we would have expected for the main courses. Again, a symptom of a packed restaurant more than an issue. We are planning on returning again to try more and more of their menu.
