Another score for the masterminds behind Coconuts & Red Cow (Be Nice Restaurant group). They somehow always manage to make each version of themselves unique. Foxy’s has a more eclectic feel and taste to their menu. It’s as if the chefs have been playing with crayons & magic markers and want to make each dish more colorful, more flavorful than you thought possible. Take for example their brunch menu – banana bread grilled cheese (which is banana bread stuffed with nutella and ricotta), short ribs eggs benedict (a frequent special), and the Foxy Dip couldn’t be more delish . Even the tiny donuts & milk dipping sauce they bring to your table while you await your meal are little delicious flavor bombs. Lunch and dinner are equally as appealing. A most recent trip was a celebratory lunch. All four of us ordered off the daily specials (philly cheesesteaks & shrimp nectarine salads), shared appetizers and then were too stuffed to finish our meals; but we somehow managed anyway. We followed it up with bread pudding that was so delish, we gave each other furtive stares over the last few bites. Save a friendship and order your own dessert. Thankfully, we remain friends and can always come back again soon.
