The Craft Beer Cartel is situated just 500 feet away from it’s sister spot, the Riverside Market.
Housed in the neighborhood of Sailboat Bend, CBC boasts a selection of nearly 1,000 different bottled beers. But there’s a catch – you can’t drink them here.
Strictly a to-go store, the Craft Beer Cartel provides empty six pack sleeves for you to fill, mix-and-match with your favorite brews and take on home with you. But if you’re like me, you’re probably grabbing two to three of those sleeves – simply because there’s SO much to choose from. Presumably, you could come back to CBC every day for the rest of your life, and grab a new beer. They’re constantly rotating the selection and adding new brews that fit a new niche, taste phenomenal and make their customers happy.
The store also houses part of the brewing facilities for Native Brewing – a institution as it’s come to be, started by Adam Fine. There, Adam and his staff host home-brewing classes, to teach fanatics how to put their own malt in the game. CBC also provides home-brewing supplies so that you can “hop” (okay, I’ll stop) your way home to make you’re own pilsner, ale or lager.
If you’re a local, the Craft Beer Cartel may just become you’re new stomping grounds – if you’re traveling, well there’s no harm in bringing a few bottles back to the hotel, right?
