There are 6458 square feet of the oldest, most delicate stained glass in this Gothic chapel. It is stunning in all senses of the word. Stunning as in beautiful and stunning as in shocking. Shocking that this jewel of a chapel is hidden away atop a rather plain lower chapel and attached to the Palais de Justice administrative buildings and that the glass has survived the ravages of time since the 1200’s, numerous wars, and the pilfering by kings and thieves alike. So so so worth the visit.
This is also a good place to buy the City Pass ticket that you can use at the Louvre, Musee D’Orsay etc which allows you to skip the lines as well. This is a less known site so not as busy as the others.
