The CN Tower is the 6th tallest freestanding structure in the world. With 2 million visitors yearly you may be tempted to avoid it as a tourist trap. Don’t. 2 million people aren’t wrong. The CN Tower is perfectly positioned to give you a 360 degree view of the entire city including Lake Ontario and the spread of downtown. There is a glass floor on part of the observation deck that those who are not faint of heart can lay down, jump up and down and take crazy pics.
For those real thrill seekers, there is the Edge Walk which involves a free walk on a 5 meter wide ledge on the OUTSIDE of the tower, 116 stories up. Ya-there’s a harness but really.
There is a fine dining restaurant 360 as well–the food is decent but really you are paying for the view.
